Original fabric is a light weight soft cotton twill, kind of a sport shirt pant weight, then it was "painted" so one side has a marigold coloring that looks like a heavy lime wash of color, this makes it a bit heavier and more sturdy. Double faced but really the color is the right side. I soaked this in hot soapy water - looks great. You can do a lot with this, leave the edges raw, apply double faced seam finishes, ruffles, sculptural, skirts, dresses, pants, shirts, suits, it's versatile. Also great for home dec, dining chair cushions, throw pillow weight, could do napkins.
